Introduction About the School
Will Durant
“Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance.”
The school is managed by Bosco Educational Welfare Society. It has been functioning since 1985 under the supervision of highly dedicated managing committee and competitive, dedicated and experienced teachers. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education under the10+2 scheme.
Bosco provides teaching learning experiences that are child centred and global in approach and yet help retain the rich contents of glorious culture. It is devoted towards character building and all round personality development covering areas of intellectual stimulation, physical robustness, social adaptability, confidence building and leadership qualities.
At Bosco, we believe that true education cannot merely be limited to the often narrow and linear schooling process of acquiring the knowledge and skills required to prepare one for life. It must be a deeper, more open and organic process of engaging with life; of experiencing its uniqueness and diversity; of asking thought-provoking questions; of the search for answers and the fearless urge to bring about change when required.
Providing our children with an integrated education of such meaning and value however implies that we must rise to the challenge of designing for them a truly holistic and experiential learning environment imbued with joyful learning. Competency Based Learning and Value Education are nurtured in the school classrooms. Culture of creativity and innovation is developed in classrooms. Students witness how asking good questions can get lead to deeper understanding and how integration of Health & Physical Education in day to day learning can make the fit physically & story mentally.
Bosco is alive to the challenges of moulding students to be lifelong learners by developing their skills as academic achievers, progressive thinkers, effective communicators and empowered citizens.
