Description

Initiative 1- Books to Change our World

Activity - Spread the joy of learning by donating books: Students of classes III-V were sensitised on the accessibility of books in acquiring education and the difference they make in the lives of underprivileged children. The young students donated books and got pictures clicked while helping the needy children.

Initiative 2- Power to Empower

Activity – Views on ‘Inequality’ through Poems and Presentations: Students of classes VI-VIII presented their dynamic views on the topic ‘Inequality’. They also unleashed their artistic side and expressed themselves through art and conveyed a powerful message by making impactful Posters and PowerPoint Presentations. The ardent Boscons also recited Self Composed Poems to spread awareness among their peers and played their part in curbing inequality.

Initiative 3- Bridging the Gap

Activity - Students teaching the Elderly to use Digital Platforms: Students of Classes XI & XII took the initiative to teach their grandparents to use digital platforms for various purposes like booking tickets, shopping, making payments etc. It was a great way to view the world with a different lens for the elderly and become tech-friendly.

Initiative 4- Chasing the Vision

Activity - Workshop on ‘Dream Startup’ for the Students: A workshop was organised by the school for the students of Grades XI and XII on ‘Dream Startup’. Our earnest Boscons discovered that the world is filled with different opportunities for studentpreneurs. They also acquired the skill to deal with difficult situations and have a solution-oriented mindset to become successful entrepreneurs. It was an enriching session for the students wherein they were inspired to become job providers rather than job seekers.

Initiative 5- Be a Buddy, Not a Bully

Activity - Anti-Bullying Squad: The Anti-Bullying Squad apprised Boscons about promoting a safe environment by preventing different acts of bullying. They also asked the students to be vocal about such situations by sharing it with their teachers and parents. The team of Anti Bullying also encouraged the students to be kind and sensitive towards each other.
